The trip to the city of Valdivia was a truly rewarding experience as we were able to learn and experience different things in our country.

We also helped to feel fulfilled as a course to make a long journey and outside Santiago, helped us out of the stress of classes and the noise in our capital.

We could share moments like course never be repeated and locals that we did not know. The people are very friendly and welcomed us very well, helped us with our doubts of some unknown place.

Met sites that led us to the past as the National Historic Museum, and the steam train on the other side. connect with nature through the ecological park and saw international competitions in our country.

It is certainly an experience we want to repeat as many times you will not forget and the city of Valdivia lived apart from being beautiful is a good place to leave the monotony of Santiago.

Torreón de los canelos: it’s  a historical monument located on Valdivia, was proyected by  juan garland like a defense system against the indians attacks on Valdivia, it belongs to the set of national monuments of chile since 1926 under presidencial decree  744 of 24 of march of the same year.

Bosque valdiviano: also called valvidian jungle, it’s a ecological region localted at the south-center of chile and the southwestern frontier with argentina,it is characterized by his evergreen forest  in a temperate humid climate, it’s the only temperate humid forest in all south america.

Rio Valdivia: the Valdivia river it’s a coastal river from chile, it borns on the Valdivia city, it has confluence  with the rivers calle-calle and cau-cau on the southwest of the teja island, it’s the second largest river of the country, next of the Baker river, it was called anilebu by the indians, it was discovered on the spanish conquest period.
